Notebook layout depends on Paragraph Styles that are specifically hidden
from the user so they can't mess them up.
You can switch to another view then change the properties of these styles.
When you go back to Notebook view, your changes will hold, provided that you
have not been using direct formatting.
However, if you do this, you are on your own. Word will probably crash soon
after you change the styles in a Notebook, and when it does, you may lose
the entire content of the notebook file
Sorry about that
It seems that, without my changing any settings, the paragraph spacing in the
notebook layout changed to 10pt. I'm able to go into other views to alter the
spacing to 0pt (the default), but every time I change outline levels, it
reverts to 10. Is there a way to make it 0pt by default again? Note that
there's no "Paragraph" option in the Format menu when in notebook layout.
