how do i pass parameter to winword.exe
and how do i access that parameter to winword.exe using VSTO2005SE?

let say i want to pas winword.exe 100 and i would like to read the 100 and
do computation before i open the document

Question answered in the VSTO forum, today. It's not possible.

What about passing Word a very small document with the value 100 as text or
field in the doc, so Word can read that value from the document, close it, do
the computations and go on. And if Word should then open a specific document,
put that document's name in the small file as well...

Just an idea...
