parameter, lost query field in report

I'm getting a parameter request on three fields when I
open a report based on a query I created from a filter.
The problem fields aren't used in the query itself, in
fact they're the Mr/Ms. First, and Last fields, just pure
data from the table. I've checked the spelling and the
control source and all that is ok. THe only thing I can
figure is that I deleted the labels from the Mr/Mr. and
Last fields in the header of the report, and changed the
label for First to just NAME, to save space over the
three fields. I think this somehow screwed up the report.
I tried reattaching the cut labels using cut and paste,
but the labels are in the Report Header section and the
field are in the Details section. Anyway, even with the
labels termporarily in the Details section, still the
same problem happens, parameters.
Finally I cut all three fields and labels from the
report, and tried to put them back in from scratch. But
now I can't get any of those fields from the field list
for the report or query. The report field list has ONLY
the few fields that are used to filter the records -
dates and $ amounts sent. And I can't drag fields from
the query field list to the report.
Please help!
