paramters/reports and query error

I have 2 questions:

I am recieving an error "invaild procedure call" when I
attempt to open two established queries and recieve an
error also when opening report. Has anyone ever had this
happen?

Secondly, when creating a parameter, I'm looking for the
language that would display the choosen parameters in the
report header.
