Parent - Child project relations

Hello,

I have a Parent project that I've linked in it 14
subprojects (14 children).

I need to track each and every task in the children to see
if there are any late tasks.

I've created a custom field that calculates the
difference, I've placed this fieldin the Parent project.
It is doing the calculation on the parent project tasks
only, not the taks of the children.

Can I get this custom field calculate for the parent
project as well as the children?

if Yes please let me know how.

The formula is acting on the parent project only, put the formula in each of
the subprojects.
