Hi Rob,

Thanks for posting here!

MICROSOFT ENGINEERS CANNOT ASSIST, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, IN THE BREAKING
OF PASSWORDS APPLIED TO FILES AND FEATURES WITHIN MICROSOFT PROGRAMS. It is
technically not possible for Microsoft engineers to break the password on a
password-protected file or feature within a Microsoft program. The
password-protection systems built into Microsoft programs are designed to
be unbreakable; there would be no point in including a password-protection
system that could be broken.

For more information, please refer to the KB article: 189126 Microsoft's
Policy Regarding Missing or Invalid Passwords

Have a nice day!

Sincerely,

Arnold Gao

Hi,

I quote from a recent post which I hope may prove helpful to you...

Please do not attempt to access a file unless you are authorised to do
so.

There are a number of very good password recovery tools available on the Net.

Have you tried any of the following web sites?

http://www.intertek.org.uk
Download free demo software or send the protected file.

password-crackers.com
Russian password tools - useful program based on encryption.

Some of the major commercial vendors.
soft4you.com
officerecovery.com
lostpassword.com
accessdata.com
elcomsoft.com
pwcrack.com

http://spider.bokler.com/crak_body.html
A premier cracking information website.

Etc... I apologise to all those excellent websites I've missed.

Try a www search - there are many good sources of help with cracking
Word passwords, and indeed almost any password!
Good luck!
