In an Access 97 application I have, I had created 2 pass-through queries linked to a SQL Server database. Then in a regular Access query I linked these 2 queries together. Worked fine. Then I upgraded to Access 2002 and it no longer worked. Learned about a Service Pack that contained "Sandbox Mode", which caused certain functions in Pass-Through queries not to work. I disabled Sandbox mode. Now...the query runs ONLY if no other objects are open. If, for example, I have a table completely unrelated to the query open, the query won't run. This query is supposed to run from a Form, and if the form is open it won't run. The error message I get is: "ODBC--connection to 'frmsprd' failed" (frmsprd is the SQL Server database)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
