Pass through Query:Invalid precision for Decimal Data Type error

I have SQL Pass through query connecting to Oracle Db. The query works in
Access 97 and in SQL Plus in Oracle. How ever when I run the same query in
Access 2000, I am getting the following error message "Invalid precision
for decimal data type". I searched Microsoft Knowledge base and I couln't
find any article on this error.

I am using Windows Xp operating System. If any one know the answer please
let me know.

I too am experiencing this problem. Has anyone been able to resolve this
issue? The KB still has no information.
