Passing an argument to a function from the Switchboard

I have a series of reports that use the exact same code to generate
reports from data that is stored in a secondary database. Currently, I
have about 9 different sets of code that is duplicated because I cannot
pass an argument from the Switchboard. My goal is to have one single
function that I would pass a key work. The function would then generate
the appropriate report.

The switchboard manager allows you to assign code to a button but I have
been unsuccessful in passing an argument to the function. I've tried
doing it through macros and referencing the macro in the Switchboard
Manager but I'd like to do it properly if it's at all possible.

why not just launch a "report form" from the switch board...

Then you can "list" and open the reports from that form.

Here is some ideas of "report" forms, and note in the following, how often
one form uses a "listbox" of reports to be launched for the same parameters
selected.
