Passing parameters to Access

I'm trying to use an Excell query to query a database in
Access but the query in Access requires date range
parameters. I understand that the Microsoft Access ODBC
driver is limited but is there any work around for this?
I've tried to rewrite the query in MS Query but it will
not accept one of my parameters (a "Y" "N" field). Any
help would be appreciated.
