password and autocomplete glitch

I use windows xp and office 2000. When I installed my
IPAQ it was suggested that I install the Microsoft outlook
2002. Now the programs will not remember any of my
passwords or autocomplete. I have downloaded all of the
updates including the one that is supposed to correct the
password issue...but it does not. Can anyone provide me
with a patch that will help.
