Password "File"

I have a password protected subweb. I'm using the standard FP security menu
(tools - security - permissions) when connected to the remote server in order
to establish usernames and passwords. Where on the remote server might I
actually find this file? (I can access a file manager on the server via
cpanel.) Thanks.

If the server is Windows, you will not find a file. If the server is Unix/Linux, I think it is
stored in a .password (not sure of the name)
