Hi,

is there anyway that i could password protect documents in onenote?

Password protection for note sections was one of the many cool additional
features added to OneNote with SP1. If you don't have it, I recommend you
get it. You can get it by opening OneNote and doing Help--> Check for
Updates and following the links on Office One-line.
