password in my form

Hi,

I have a form with unbound text box txtUserName
the other one is txtPassword. I have also cmdLogIn and
cmdCancel.

Can anyone help me on how can I write my code? that when I click
cmdLogIn as long username & password are correct access-2003 will display my
mainswitchboard. or when username & password are in correct a msgbox would
appear that tells user incorrecet username or password. and when I click
cancel
I want acces-2003 do nothing an clears password and username.

can anyone is kind in helping me in writing my codes, I appreciate it.
