Password issue 0x800CCC32

I can't seem to get rid of the problem of having to re-
enter my password info when trying to access my hotmail
account via Outlook 2002. I installed the latest patches
for Office from the Windows update, only to get this
problem. I've searched and implemented the solutions of
deleted the reg key related to passwords, looked for
duplicate entries in the send and receive and to no
avail, cannot get rid of that annoying pop up. Any other
suggestions? Thanks in advanced...

I have this exact same problem, only I use Office 2000
with WinXP. Please help, I hate having to keep retype my
password.

Thanks for the help Milly, however, I've done it all. I
backed up my reg key, deleted the subkey, and proceeded
as the instructions suggest, however, still I get the pop
up that requires me to re-enter my password verification.
I've also tried to delete the hotmail .pst file as well,
but that doesn't help either. By any chance, do you know
if I need to delete the synchro headers? Is that even
possible? Thanks again....
