I am trying to password protect a subweb in FP 2003. FP
server extensions are enabled. When going to tools >
Administration to try to set the usernames/passwords, I
keep getting a dialog box that says "A World Wide Web
browser, such as Internet Explorer is required to use
this feature." What in the world does that mean? Can
anyone help?

Thanks!

Thanks Steve. But I have done all that. I have emailed
the host to make sure FP 2002 SE's are installed on the
server. I keep getting that stupid pop up box about
needing the Browser so I have a feeling it is server
extension related.

Are you using IE5+ as your default browser?
If so run a repair on IE
see http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=318378
