I create documents in Word 2000, add a time/date stamp to the header, password protect, then save them.
I then put these documents into another program that allows users to "view" them in a controlled manner, but they can't make changes to them.
We discovered, though, that the time/date stamps are incorrect. They don't "refresh" to the current time/date. I need them to.
I know if I click just the "protect form" button, the dates seem to refresh. But, if they know how, people can easily just find that unlock button and unlock it. We really would like to be able to PASSWORD protect these documents.
Any suggestions?
