Our setup
-----------------
- Mandatory profile (ntuser.man)
- MS Office 2007
- Win XP sp2 or sp3
Error
-----------------
When I try to save a document (Word, Excel, etc) with a password to protect
it. I receive the Following error
"Microsoft Office Excel can't access the file << D:\24F3E000 >>, for many
reasons: ... "
If I try to open a protected document from a mandatory profile, I receive
"Can't open, file is corrupt..."
What I found out is
-----------------
- If I save the document under 97-2003, it works just fine
- If I rename ntuser.man to ntuser.dat, it works
The problem is that I can't seams to find à solution from Microsoft and I
don't want to open up our profiles to users and we are not using GPOs yet. So
far the workaround is to save in 97-2003 format, but I'm looking for a fix
for this issue.
Can anyone help... Thx !
