I've inherited a VBA 6 Project that was originally written by a colleague, it
relates to an Excel workbook and simply changes data received from an
external source (received via a ".dat" file) into a format that can be read
by another external system.
The slight issue is that my colleague passed away 6 months ago and put a
password on the project, but never told anyone what it was. I've tried the
usual; favouite team, wife's name, wife's pet name, DOB, but none work.
Is there anyway of discovering the password to a protected VBA Project?
I need to change the VB Code to take account of recent business changes and
as this is also connected to an Excel workbook it would be easier to amend
the VB code in this project as opposed to completely starting from scratch
(unless I can add another VB project to this workbook).
