Password protecting a particular page

IOW, if someone clicks on the link, a password is requires.

Hi Daniel,

I was after the same a few weeks back, and didn't want to have to be
directed to another website (with advertising) to handle the code for
me. Then I came across this solution by Rob Heslop:

It encrypts the password using JavaScript and it is REALLY EASY to
follow.

Is it possible to password protect a special page on a website?

I will always suggest my way, which I think is a pretty easy way to
pasword protect a page or pages... (grin)

It requires a server that is ASP, but 99% of any FrontPage compatible
host should be.
