Password Protection of PowerPoint Presentations on Office Mac 2004

as a new user of Office mac 2004 i cannot seem to password protect
PowerPoint presentation files in the same way that i can protect word
and excel files.

Am i missing somethng?

Pretty sure Mac PPt is the same as PC but not near one to check - and I've
never had reason to pw-protect a presentation file Try
Powerpoint>Options>Security

Hi,

If you are using File > Save As then you can not password protect the file
the same way on the Mac as you can on a PC. That particular feature is not
on Mac PowerPoint.
