Password Protection

I've created a website in Microsoft Publisher, but there is a section of the
website that I want to lock from the public and just give members a
password. I used a free Javascript for the password, but Google has listed
the protected page and you can access it without the password via the Google
link.

What can I do to prevent this? I've got several pages that I don't want in
the public domain.

Is there any good, cheap, software I can use?

The best solution if you don't want to do your own programming is to use a
host side option to secure a directory. I believe this is covered on the
FAQ - http://www.publishermvps.com/Default.aspx?tabid=30 . Speak to your
host about "password protection".
