When I try to open a word folder that is password protected I get the
following message...The folder 'P:\...' isn't accessable. The folder may be
located in an unavailable location, protected with a password, or the
filename conatinas a /or\.

Where do I go to key in my password?

Word cannot password protect a folder. Normally folders are protected by
Windows using permissions so that a particular registered user is granted
access automatically.

Word is only able to password individual documents: when you open them, you
are prompted to enter a password.

Unless you know that you password-protected a folder, this sounds more like
a network permissions problem with the mapped drive, P. See your systems
administrator.
