Password Protection

Hello,

I was curious if Word allowed for a password protection
where any changes will not be saved (other than using the
read-only option)? I know you can have a password entry
system, but can you tailor a document to ask for a
password upon making any changes? Or is the best approach
to prevent a person from making changes is to create a
PDF? Thank you ahead of time for your responses.
