Is it possible to password protect an entire folder?

I know how to set up each doc with password protection but
would also like to password protect the folder in which
these docs are located.

Hi, Lisa,

That isn't a Word function. It depends on the operating system: You can
protect (actually, grant or deny specific users the read/write rights to) a
folder in Windows NT, 2000, and XP, but not in Windows 95, 98, or ME.
