i have a database in access 2000 on my desktop and i used
the user level security wizard to create users and
passwords, reason be that there is more than one user ,
problem is if one user copies the database to another pc
or laptop, will the security features still exist?
thank you,

If you secured it properly, then yes it will still be secure - the
permissions are stored in the mdb. If you mean, will they be able to use
it, then no - they'll also need to copy the appropriate workgroup file
(.mdw), and join it or use a desktop shortcut.
