paste from net word xp problem

Hi, new install xp sp2 with office xp, all updated, some text from web pages
will not paste into word (about a third of pages tries) word just locks up
and ends up not responding - have repaired office and checked out firewall
nav security etc.

i am only talking a couple of paragraphs - no major memory drains -
sometimes it will paste instantly some sites not at all. Ideas?

Try Edit, PasteSpecial, Unformatted Text. This often works faster because
Word doesn't need to connect to the site and download it again. Also, some
sites are set up to prohibit copy/paste actions.
