Paste function in Outlook e-mail defaults to Times New Roman

If I copy from a web application (or most anything on the web), it pastes in
Outlook as Times New Roman. This actually goes along with another issue
(possibly related) where bullets in e-mails automatically default to Times
New Roman.

My messages are created in HTML, and I use Outlook as the default text
editor. These are the same exact settings for another machine that I use,
and I don't experience the problem there.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

This is because 'copy' also copied the formatting from the website. You
can avoid this by either first paste into, then copy from Notepad. Then
the copied text is in plain text format.

If you use Firefox, you can 'copy as plain text'.
