Hello,
I have created a MS Project. I want to start a new MS
Project document that is linked to the first document.
So I COPIED the lines, opened a new MS Project document,
and then did a PASTE SPECIAL, and then selected PASTE LINK.
The new document then pastes the lines, but it loses the
subtask information; instead it puts the lines all on the
same level.
Secondly, linking does not seem to update. When I close
the document and re-open it, I get an error that says
"Microsoft cannot link to <<first document name>>!link_5
Do you want to delete the link?
to delete the link click yes
To keep the link as it click no. You can change the link
reference to reflect the new data. On the Edit menu click
Link and the click Change Source
I have tried to change the source, but it says it is
invalid.
Please help
