Paste Link from Excel to Powerpoint -> formatting inconsistencies

Hi everyone,

I have linked a range of cells in Excel to a Powerpoint slide using the
Paste Link option.

Initially, my problem was that the linked image would resize automatically
once pasted into Powerpoint. I solved this problem by disabling the
associated option in Auto-Format as You Type, as indicated in another post.

My problem now is that fonts in the linked Powerpoint image distort when
source data in the Excel worksheet is changed and the link is updated.

Are you aware of any way to prevent this distortion?
