Paste Problem

Word 2004 usually pastes copied data in the source format.
I would like the data to have the same formating as the paragraph.
Can this be set up to work this way?

You can't set the Paste command to paste "keep text only" or "match
destination formatting," I don't think.

Of course, after pasting, you can choose "match destination formatting" by
clicking on the clipboard that shows up.

The efficient way to do this is to record a macro that pastes with
destination formatting, and assign that macro to cmd-v or cmd-opt-v or
something convenient for you.

If you don't find Tools | Macros, Record New Macro *and* Tools | Customize,
Keyboard self-explanatory, post back for help with creating that macro. I
haven't actually tested recording "match destination formatting", let us
know if it works.

"no" and "No" :)

There's no way to set the default paste wrapping style, and no way to set
the default paste formatting style.

Sorry about that: please email (e-mail address removed)
and express your displeasure, we might get it fixed next time :)

Note: Make sure you specify your exact Product, Version number, and
operating system in the subject line of the email.

Cheers
