paste rows in word table: badl alignment

hi, recently when I drag and drop rows in a Word table, the dropped row does
not align correctly. Same thing if I cut and paste the row. As a
workaround, I can insert a blank row, then cut and paste just the text.

Anyone know of a fix to this or why I never had the problem until recently?

Using: Office 2003 on XP; often have Outlook open with Word as my email
editor. In email, my default format is HTML.
