Paste special/column/widths

I have recently changed to the Mac X version of Excel and cannot find
the paste special/column widths command that I am used to from the
Windows version.
Is it possible to activate that somehow or is there a good workaround?

That feature wasn't added to MacXL until XL04. In previous versions you
have to paste the entire column in order to change the width (which, of
course, makes sense since width is a property of the column, not
individual cells).
