Where did you get the text you want to paste in? Sometimes, "text" on the
internet or in e-mails is really a picture rather than text.
Try using Edit - Paste Special - Unformatted Text and see if that works. If
the Unformatted Text option is not available, you might not have real text on
your clipboard.
