Paste Visio into Word

When I "paste special" my Visio diagram into Word, it appears with a grey
background, it does not have a background colour in Visio, how do I paste the
diagram only (without grey background) into Word. I found that if I then
Format/Object and selected move object to front of text this got rid of the
grey background but the quality of the diagram was not as good.

What versions of Visio and Word are you using? How exactly are you
copying and pasting?

Using Word and Visio 2003. I CTRL A the diagram in Visio and copy then go to
my Word document and select Edit/Paste Special and highlight Microsoft Visio
Drawing Object and click Ok. The diagram gets inserted inside a box and box
fill colour is grey. If I format object and select colour/lines it says that
there is no fill colour.
