PLESE HELP ME X_X riel_117

hi i have a problem in copy pasting pictures from microsoft word to a folder
(my pictures folder). everytime I copy paste a picture from word to my
pictures folder it's pasting a scrap.shs format picture. it shows a half torn
paper icon which i havent encountered before.

im willing to take any possible solutions.

im using windows xp and microsoft office 2003.

p.s. im trying to copy a picture from word to a folder(my pcitures folder)
without using save as in power points.

You can extract the pictures by saving the file as HTML, which creates a
folder of all graphics in the document. But you should use a graphics
program to work with graphics.

hi thank you for replying. your suggestion seems ok but unfortunately this
doesnt solve the problem. I just want to be able to copy paste again with a
bitmap file format instead of the .shs format. this is really frustrating as
i use this process quite a lot. any alternatives anyone?

The thing is, copying and pasting (on a PC) doesn't really work that way.
Images can be pasted into documents, or some programs will let you create a
new document from clipboard, but in general you can't copy an image and paste
it into a folder, at least not without some other program intervening. You
can paste it into Paint and save as a bitmap, which is probably the easiest
(and free-est) way to go about it.
