I have set Word 2007 options to paste material between documents to match the
destination formatting. However, when I paste material from a Word 2007
document into one of my templates (that I created) that has the same style
names as the source, Word goes ahead and pastes all the material with the
Normal style. I have to go in and re-format each paragraph. For example,
Heading 1 in the source document gets pasted in as Normal in the destination
document, even though the destination has a Heading 1 style. Any suggestions
on what can be causing this? When I use the insert file, command, the text is
inserted properly.
Note that I have all the paste option settings set to Match Destination
Formatting.
