Hi,
I'm using Excel 2003 and am having a problem.
If I copy a number from Firefox or Internet Explorer and paste it into
Excel , it always appears in scientific format. This happens even if
I change the cell format to General, Text, or Number.
Of course, I can select the option to "match destination format" and
the pasted number appears as a plain number. But I do not want to
have to add this extra step for every copy and paste.
How do I set the default behavior of Excel to always match the
destination format.
P.S. If I copy the number, paste it into notepad, copy that number
and paste it into Excel it pastes as a plain number, just as I wish.
Thanks for any help!
