I'm using W2003 but many of my existing documents (containing lots of tables)
were created in W2000.
When I copy an existing table row of 5 columns (with cells empty or
populated) and then paste it into the same table, the row pastes into the
table with different formatting (i.e. columns are shorter than the row copied
from and the cell borders don't match). This happened in several documents in
different tables.
Any idea what I can do to prevent this? Do I need to use a special paste
function in W2003 (via Edit > Paste Special) instead of using a regular
copy/paste? Or is there some new table formatting option I need to clear
someplace?
It only seems to happen with tables created in W2000. When I copied/pasted
a row from a table newly created in W2003, the problem doesn't happen.
Thanks for you help.
