Pasted text always come up in the format of the source

Every time I paste into Outlook 2003 the text is formatted in like it
was from the location I copied it. The font, size, and color are all
as they were from the source. 9 times out of 10 I want my text to
appear like the text at that point of my cursor and not the source of
the copy. I've found that it's nearly impossible to remember to use
"Paste Special" in these situations. I know Outlook 2003 has several
dialog boxes of poorly organized options, is there an option that will
paste text in the current format of the text at the cursor? If so,
I've used enough Microsoft software to know that if an option like
that were to exist it will have massive side effects. What are those?

Thanks
Steve

I'm on Outlook 2007 so I'm not positive this exists in Outlook 2003 but I
think it does. Go to to Tools | Options | Other tab, click Advanced Options,
and if there is a "Show Paste Options Buttons" box, check it.
