Pasted Word text looks pale yellow

I am trying to help a friend with an Outlook problem. Someone changed
some of her options and now if she copies text from a Word doc and then
pastes it into Outlook as part of a message the text comes out pale
yellow. This makes it very hard to read. Her Outlook is set up to be
formatted HTML by default. If I change it to Plain Text the text turns
blue, but her Word formatting goes away. She never had this problem
before. I would appreciate any ideas on where to start looking for a
fix.

Sounds like there has been tampered with Font settings;
Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Format-> button Fonts...

I checked the font settings and it was set to auto for the color. I
tried changing it to black and still had the same problem.

You'll need to post more information then;
Version of Outlook?
Word or Outlook as the e-mail editor?

I found the answer. The stationary was set to Blank and it changes
pasted Word docs to yellow. I changed her stationary back to none and
all is fixed.

Thanks,
Judy
