Pasting a table is automaticaly picked up as headings

Hi,
i am pastign a table created in one word document into
another. When I do this the bold text in the most left
hand column is being picked up by word and set as headings.
i cna change them back to normal and reformat them,
however this is something I am doing allot of and would
prefer that I could turn it off.

Any help would be appreciated.
