Hello,
I come across a lot of situations where in I need to link data (A range of
cells from Excel (2007 for Windows) or charts) into Powerpoint (2007 for
Windows) and then have them automatically updated as the information chages
in Excel.
The problem which I always face is formatting. Once I paste the
information into Powerpoint (using the "Paste-special" method") Powerpoint
automatically rezises the object into a smaller size and distorts the font.
Also when the information is updated in Excel and I say update links in
Powerpoint, the object is resized and the fonts are also distorted. Can
someone please let me know how to prevent this from happening?
I found from one of the discussion groups that you can prevent auto-resizing
by un-checking the "Automatic Layout for inserted objects" in the auto
correct options. I am amazed that this option is not available to me in
Powerpoint 2007. I only have "Automatic bullets" "Autofit Title text" and
"Autofit Body Text".
Any solutions?
