Pasting data in Excel w/ Access XP

Ever since I switched to Access XP everytime I cut and paste into Excel (97 or XP) it treats all values as text. The only way to avoid this is a Past Special and select CSV. This is very annoying, does anyone know whay, and better yet, how to prevent such behavior?

Try using the TransferSpreadsheet action on a query which gathers the data
you want. Or, if you don't want to bother with code or a macro, use the
"Analyze It with Microsoft Excel" option on the Tools ... Office Links menu.
