My office uses a report template in Word and I regularly
pastes tables from Excel into the template (pasting
special as an enhaced metafile).
However, since we recently upgraded to Office 2003,I am
having trouble with such pasting.
Now, when I copy and paste special all I am able to see in
the Word template is the very bottom row of the table. I
can click on it and move it around and re-size it, but it
does not show up on screen. It also does not show up on
print preview, but it DOES show up when I print out a hard
copy.
A few other things to note:
(1) I can successfully paste and enhanced metafile into a
blank Word document (not the template) and see it just
fine.
(2) I was able to successfully paste metafiles into the
report template on a colleague's computer, using Office
2000. I saved that copy of the report to our network and
then opened the file on my machine, using Office 2003. I
could then see the tables. But when I then tried to being
another table in, I had the same problem again.
If anyone knows what the problem is and how to work around
it, I'd appreciate your help.
