Pasting every 8th line for example

I have a range where i would like to copy every 8th line
and ignore the 7 blank lines inbetween, now how would i
copy one line of formulae to read from Sheet1 to paste
Sheet2 and in so doing, only copying every 8th line and
not having to delete the 7 blanks i'm creating while
pasting. Do I make sense?

If indeed the range is data 7 blank rows data and so on, apply the
autofilter (data>filter>autofilter)
from dropdown select nonblanks, select the visible range,copy it and paste
it unto sheet2
