Pasting Excel graphs in PowerPoint

I am trying to paste some graphs from Excel to PowerPoint and some of the
graphs paste okay, but some of them are distorted. How can I fix that problem?

When I select and copy the chart and paste it to the PowerPoint slide, some
charts are 2.41 x 10.52 and some are 5.44 x 8.29. I do the same thing in both
cases, but get different results. I need them all to be 5.44 x 8.29.

I would size them in Excel on their own custom sized chart sheets, then
paste them over.

That didn't work. There must have been something wrong with the file. I
created a new file and all the charts are pasting fine!!!! Thanks.

Hey Echo,

What idiot told you to create custom sized chart sheets? Oh, that was
me! You should know better than listen to my advice.

I have a new technique I just used on a project that you know about
that creates over 50 different charts in six or more custom sizes. You
don't think I created that many custom sized chart sheets, now do you?

I'm going to write this up and have Steve add it to the PPTFAQ site
shortly. Have to clean up some working but not pretty code. Heck, I
think it's only 4-5 lines of code so should be done fairly soon (g).
Totally untested in Office 2007 but works in Office 97-2003 perfectly.
Has perfectly sized literally thousands of charts for use in Excel,
Word, and PowerPoint for high volume production/publication group at a
very chart intensive company.
