Pasting from Excel

I'm trying to paste a fairly large area of an Excel
spreadsheet into a PowerPoint slide. It's an organisation
chart drawn into Excel, spanning columns A - AD. When I
paste the selected area, only A-S shows on the slide. I
can reduce the column width until it shows the whole
selection, but that's a bit of a hit and miss process, and
the chart is distorted. Does anyone know why this happens
and/or another way to go about it?
