Until recently, I was using Outlook 2003 to create HTML e-mails, by
opening a web page in IE, doing a 'Select All', then pasting it into
the message body in Outlook. This has been working fine, and doing a
'View source' shows that the background is nicely embedded as part of
the message (something like <BODY style="BACKGROUND-POSITION: right
top"
background=cid:334175211@04102005-2EF4>)
However, in the last few weeks, for some reason, pasting the same HTML
page into the message body now, for some unknown reason, strips the
background image out. It no longer displays, and no longer appears in
the source code. My default mail format is still HTML, and 'Send
Pictures From The Internet' is ticked, so I'm totally stumped.
Can anyone suggest some setting in Outlook I may have inadvertantly
turned on or off to suddenly stop the background being pasted and
embedded along with the rest of the HTML?
