Pasting into Dreamweaver

With Office 2004 I could take a spreadsheet, highlight & copy a range of cells, then paste that info into a Dreamweaver page, making a very nice table & it only carried over minimal formatting. I didn't have to edit much (column with was about it)

With 2008 I can copy in Excel but in dreamweaver nothing happens on the paste. The Edit menu flashes but nothing appears. Even if I manually select paste with formatting, nothing happens.

I can still go back to Excel 2004 & it still works. I don't have access to the newest Dreamweaver - but I'm doubting it works there either.
Using Lepoard 10.5.2

Anyone have another way of pasting this tabular data from excel into an html page? (Tried pasting to word & recopying the table there - no go)

There's a known conflict pasting from Office 2008 apps to Adobe apps which
may or may not involve Leopard as well %-{ Bottom line is that the "Big 3"
are in the throes of resolving it now but when it will be fixed is anyone's
guess. Have you tried Paste Special> Unformatted Text, or pasting to
TextEdit, then copy/paste to DW?
